The trip to Ireland and UK that takes place at the end of 5th Year, offers students at St. Brendan’s Secondary School the chance to experience the Irish culture first-hand. Students spend two weeks in Dublin. They live with Irish families and they attend English classes in the mornings, in one of the most prestigious language schools in Europe. This gives them the opportunity to develop the language skills in a natural, everyday context, visiting the sights in the afternoons.
After two weeks in Dublin students spend a weekend in Scotland and then take a train to London where they will enjoy nearly a week´s unique cultural experience.
In order to make the trip possible for the largest number of students every year, St. Brendan’s School has developed systems of institutional support such as: raffles, agenda, and others.
